Star Wars Battlefront Closed Alpha Launches July 2nd

The PC closed beta phase of Star Wars Battlefront will begin on July 2nd. The lucky ones to exist selected will be able to pre-load the closed beta build on July 1st and will be able to play on July 2nd.

EA and DICE accept finally showcased the first gameplay footage of Star Wars Battlefront, and every bit expected it looked amazing. They also demonstrated some Missions Co-op gameplay during Sony'due south E3 2022 printing conference, that showcases some incredible visual quality that almost matches the in-game trailer we have previously seen.

DICE was given unprecedented access to the original props and locations for Star Wars Battlefront

Community Manager Mathew Everett has recently provided some information about the collaboration going on with Lucasfilm for Star Wars Battlefront, mentioning that the planet Sullust used in the Star Wars comics is inspired by the game.

"The Sullust they use within the comic is based on the Sullust nosotros're introducing into the Star Wars universe in Star Wars Battlefront. This has been a function of the collaboration we have had with Lucas over the last few years."

Everett confirmed that mission maps are unique and specific to that part of the game, separate from multiplayer maps:

"Mission maps are unique to Missions. The map count we revealed includes only Multiplayer maps from the base game (12 maps). Nosotros as well take the 2 extra free maps that will come with the Battle of Jakku. The Boxing of Jakku maps volition arrive starting on December 1st or December 8th depending if yous pre-ordered, which gives us fourteen maps total before The Force Awakens arrives in theaters. We will reveal the full Mission map count in the about future."

Star Wars Battlefront will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox I, and PC on Nov 17, 2022.
